St Joseph's Catholic Church, Brighouse

The Vicariate for Education has its own section on the Diocese of Leeds website where a wealth of resources can be found to assist in the formation and growth of the Catholic faith. There are short courses available to follow online, pdfs to download and many are available to watch on the Diocese of Leeds Vicariate for Education youtube channel

Canon Timothy Swinglehurst as Episcopal Vicar for the Vicariate of Education offers a warm welcome to share in the mission of the Vicariate and explore their work.

Adding, 'It has never been more important for Catholics to be well-versed in an understanding of their faith both intellectually in terms of the mind and also spiritually in terms of the heart.

In the Diocese of Leeds, Schools, Religious Education, Youth, Catechesis, Parenting Support, Lay Chaplaincy and Adult Formation staff work closely together as the Vicariate for Education team to ensure support for parishes, parishioners, young people, school staff and families across the 93 schools and colleges as well as the parishes in the Diocese. The Vicariate team are keen to support you as an individual or as parishes, schools or Catholic organisations.

Please take time to view our work and see what we offer you. If there is any information you require or if you wish to become more involved with this aspect within your parish, please don’t hesitate to contact us'.
